Tribute to the Greatest Generation

If ever there was a generation of Americans whose character was forged by adversity, it was the generation Tom Brokaw labeled, "The Greatest Generation." This was the generation that triumphed over the hardships of the Great Depression in the 30's and a decade later sacrificed all in securing freedom for America and her Allies from fascist regimes poised to conquer the world.

The New Holland Band will pay its "Tribute to the Greatest Generation" in concert this spring, an event members of the Greatest Generation and their families will not want to miss. The program includes a multi-media presentation with Doris Day, Bing Crosby, and the Modernaires stand-in soloists, Host Dick Hoxworth (ret. WGAL-TV News) and Announcer Steve Nolt of WDAC radio, and of course The New Holland Band and Swing Band performing the incomparable music of the 1930's and 40's.

Amidst sounds of vintage aircraft, radio commercials of the era, and a host of surprises, this show will be cast in the format of a 1944 radio broadcast to the troops in the Pacific and the European Theater.

Don't miss this one and only performance
